About Us
Running Hare is based near Lewes in East Sussex. Every product is made and designed in house, details always hand sewn. All materials are very carefully sourced from England wherever possible and sometimes France. Maker Ana-Luisa de Cavilla Scrutton draws her inspiration from a working knowledge of the theatre, passion for animals, birds, horticulture , fruit and vegetables. She has been making since a child. Running Hare is happy to accept commissions, and will design bespoke items also. Using natural materials, is of paramount importance, resulting in special original items which last a lifetime and are of excellent quality.
